Brief Bio
I am currently an assistant professor of pulmonary and critical care at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. I am also a faculty member of the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center in the Clinical Research Division. I run our lung cancer screening programs as well as our Lung Cancer Early Detection and Prevention Clinic. I am a clinical researcher, and my main interests are in understanding screening implementation with particular attention to eliminating health disparities.
My major interests are in lung cancer, HIV, disparities in health, equitable distribution of resources in medicine.
I am also interested in partnerships between industry and academics to improve patient-centered technology and serve as a medico-legal consultant in my area of expertise: lung cancer
